Contest Update - Beat by Cookie Monster!

Thank you all for voting for my flowers in the Scrapbooks Etc Craft It Forward contest!  Unfortunately, I was beat out by Cookie Monster and Elmo.  Sad Face :-(  Oh, well.

Here's a new card I made over the weekend. I CASE'd from another blogger, Renee, Inkspirations Challenge #65.  I made mine a bit larger and created a little nest from the branch of the bird punch.

I used Night of Navy for the card, Marina Mist for the circle and inside of the card, Ivory for the sentiment, Old Olive for the branches, Crumb Cake for the nest, and Soft Suede for the birds.  I inked the branches, sentiment and birds with Soft Suede ink.

I hope you like it.  I think it turned out really cute!

Lots Of Bots Birthday

Here's a fun card I made for a guy at the office.  Since we are programmers, I thought the binary code in the background was appropriate!

I used the Lots of Bots Stamp Set on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink.  Then I colored the robot with my Copic Markers and added some red stickles to the balloon, hat and bag.  I inked the edges of each layer with Basic Grey ink.  The layers are matted on Basic Black, Crumbcake, Real Red, and Marina Blue cardstock.  Hope you like it!

New Fabulous and Fun Spring Flowers Class!

Join me on Friday, April 8, to make some beautiful cards with Fabulous and Fun Spring Flowers!

In this class, we will make 3 cards - all adorned with the most fabulous flowers you have ever seen!  I will show you how to use punches and stamps to create 3 fabulous spring flowers that you will love to share and show off.

The class fee is $10/person and includes all the materials and instructions to make 3 cards. Bring a pair of scissors and some adhesive.  I will supply the tools and some snacks to keep us going.

Don't miss this class!  You will use these techniques over and over again!  Here's a couple of photos of the cards we will make!  The third card is a 3D Rose card.  I will post tonight!

We'll start at 7:00pm and finish around 9:30pm, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like and play!

We will learn embossing and cutting with the Big Shot, making punch art creations, using ink for shading and depth, using stickles and ribbon accents, and stamping!

To sign up for the class, paypal me the $10 or join my Meetup Group and RSVP for the class.

Daisies Workshop Photos

I know I am late with these photos, but I wanted to show everyone how much fun we had building Daisy arrangements this month.  We had 14 people help out on Saturday, March 19th with making Daisy Flower arrangements.  My son, Jordan, took snapshots of us working with his iPhone!  So some shots are better than others.

Thanks for looking!  And Thank You to all the volunteers who helped with this project!
