Gnome Peeking! Mushroom Punch Art

One of my favorite stamp sets from the current Occasions Mini Catalog is Gnome Sweet Gnome! Those little guys make me smile. So, this week at SUDSOL, the Stamp Set challenge was using this set. I couldn't resist playing along!

I paper pieced her hat and dress from Twitterpated Designer Series Paper. The Mushrooms I drew by hand and cut out of cardstock, then I punched whisper white circles to add to them. The grass is an old Quickutz die I had in my stash.

Thanks for looking at my creations. This will be one of the designs available at next month's card buffet event on 3/10/12. Hope you can join us! To sign up, check out the event on my meetup site, http://www.meetup.com/Crafting-with-Heart/events/51711362/.

Happy Valentines!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day whether you have a special someone or not, it's a day to love yourself and your family.

I had a couple of events this weekend and we made fabulous projects. So, I have to share them all with you too!

This is the scrapbook class I taught on Sunday afternoon. We made two 12x12 pages.

Next, is a card I made for my sweetheart this year!

Next, is a photo of all the goodies we made at my Valentine Project Meet & Greet event!

I made a Muppet!

I know it sounds strange, but my son Jordan had to do an interactive class project for English. They are reading 'The Hobbit'. So, he chose to make a puppet of Gandolf and have the puppet speak to the class in his interactive presentation.

If you would like to know how to make a muppet like this, here is the link to the site where I learned how, http://www.curbly.com/users/indymogul/posts/1699-how-to-make-a-muppet-style-puppet.
